Job Title: Intern, Mechanical Engineer Job ID: 42870 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL J ob Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer to support both new product development and factory support for existing products. This internship offers hands-on experience working alongside engineers and mechanical designers to contribute to product design, documentation, and engineering change processes in a collaborative environment. Essential Functions: Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required Qualifications: Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field at an accredited university. Preferred Skills: CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms Gear train, motion control, or experience with AI.
