Job Title: Intern, Systems Engineer Job Code: 42876 Job Location: Waco, TX Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineering Summer Intern to join our team in Waco, Texas. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting systems engineering activities across the full development lifecycle. The intern will assist with operational analysis, system design, testing, troubleshooting, and technical presentations while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Essential Functions: Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans Develop test plans, procedures & cases Conduct tests and document results Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers Qualifications: To be eligible, candidate's must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field at an accredited university. Preferred Skills: Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering Familiar with Rhapsody
