**Location:** Colchester, Essex (commutable from North/East London, Chelmsford, Ipswich) **Contract:** Locum (Band 6/7) **Start:** ASAP Hiring now for a **Senior Radiographer (Locum)** in **Colchester** (Band 6–7). **£25–£30 p/h** depending on experience, with flexible patterns and quick compliance. Ideal for radiographers confident across core imaging with strong standards and mentorship experience. ## What you’ll do - Deliver safe, patient-centred diagnostic imaging across a busy hospital service - Use RIS/PACS/EPR accurately; keep clear records and protect data confidentiality - Contribute to image quality, protocol optimisation and routine QA - Mentor and support juniors/students; help coordinate daily workflow - Work closely with the MDT to meet service demand and turnaround times ## Must-haves - Degree (or equivalent) in Diagnostic Radiography - **HCPC registration** as a Radiographer - Strong recent experience operating at **senior** level in a hospital imaging team - Comfortable supervising colleagues and maintaining high professional standards - Confident user of hospital IT systems (RIS/PACS/EPR) ## Nice-to-haves - Any exposure to **Interventional Radiology (IR)** - Experience in a **Cardiac Cath Lab** setting - Experience in **Computed Tomography (CT)**
