We offer senior-led execution, cross-border expertise and rigorous analysis through a lean platform built on client alignment, transparency and trust. **The role** We are looking for an Associate Director to take ownership of the analytical and written product on our mandates. This is the step from producing the work to shaping it: you will be accountable for what leaves the team, draft the documents the senior team builds on, contribute your judgment to transaction decisions, and become a visible presence with clients. You will work directly with the firm’s partners on sell-side, buy-side and capital raise advisory mandates across a range of sectors. **What you will do** - Own the analytical product on live mandates: instruct, check and teach analysts and senior analysts to a standard where the first pass is the last pass - Draft pitch materials, CIMs, teasers, bid letters, memos and process documents - Bring a view to transaction decisions, not only to the analysis behind them - Participate in client meetings and work alongside counsel, counterparties and co-advisors through diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing - Contribute origination ideas from your own reading of the market, at least one a quarter **What you bring** - 3+ years of investment banking or M&A advisory experience, ideally including cross-border transactions - Mastery of financial modeling and valuation, with the judgment to review and correct others’ work - Fluency in drafting the full range of transaction documents - Working knowledge of sell-side, buy-side and capital raise processes, and of the structures that recur in Latin American deals (earnouts, escrows, seller notes, rollover equity) - Written communication that synthesizes and decides - Fluency in Spanish and English - Based in a time zone between UTC-3 and UTC-6 **Preferred** - Transaction experience in Latin America and the Caribbean - Transaction exposure across a range of sectors – we are a generalist firm - Prior experience in private equity, corporate development or restructuring **What we offer** - Direct work with the firm’s partners on every mandate - A defined path to Vice President, based on independent execution and client-facing readiness - More direct ownership of the work than a larger platform offers - Compensation tied to individual and firm performance, explained transparently on sample transactions - Remote-first work with close regional integration **Our process** - An initial interview with a partner covering your career in depth - A technical and judgment interview with a second partner - A live work session on a hypothetical mandate, followed by a presentation of your approach
