Investment Products Operations Specialist

Job description

**About us** Traditional banking has never really given you control over your financial life. Satispay exists to change that: to **empower people through finance**. That means making financial services easy and accessible for over 6.5M users. We started with payments, then benefits, investing, cards... and we’re not done. Not even close. We follow the same logic every time: find a real problem, solve it properly, then look for the next one. The destination? To build the most loved financial platform in the world. If you own outcomes rather than tasks, stay close to what users need, and refuse to wait for someone else to fix what's broken — you'll find people here who work exactly in the same way. And together, you'll build something worth being proud of. **What you'll be doing** As our **Investment Products Operations Specialist,** you'll be a key member of this growing division within the Satispay Group, playing an instrumental role in driving our ambitious plans to expand the scope of this business. You’ll join our Investment Products group in Luxembourg, reporting to the Head of Satispay’s Investment Firm. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: - **Order Monitoring and Daily Triage**: supervise the daily lifecycle of 10s of thousands of daily retail trades, taking over operational triage from product and engineering teams to resolve execution discrepancies, batch order exceptions, and failed settlements across partner networks - **Partner & Transfer Agent Operations:** Serve as primary operational contact for custody and execution partners, ensuring seamless end-to-end processing of batch mutual fund subscriptions/redemptions and daily equity/ETF trades. - **Reconciliation & Discrepancy Management**: Perform daily cash, position, and trade reconciliations between internal platform logs and external partner reporting to identify, track and resolve cash or unit discrepancies promptly - **Escalation & Engineering Liaison:** Act as the operational bridge between Luxembourg finance and business operations and the Milan-based product and engineering teams, translating systemic operational issues into functional requirements for platform improvements. - **Operational readiness for New Asset Classes:** Lead the operational setup, testing and launch workflows for upcoming retail investment products, including crypto assets, pension funds, robo-advisory offerings and more. **Who we're looking for** This role needs someone who is a problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership in a fast-paced environment. - **Relevant experience:** 3-5 years in Fintech or Investment Operations. Solid background in wealthtech, retail brokerage, or investment management operations, with hands-on exposure to mutual funds, equities, ETFs, or crypto products. - **Partner & Execution Model Experience:** Direct experience dealing with 3rd party custodians, trade execution partners, transfer agents - **Scalable infrastructure mindset:** Experience operating within fast-growing retail platforms, with a focus on building repeatable, automated processes that eliminate manual interventions as trading volumes scale. - **Growth & Licensing Ambition:** Excited by the prospect of building an in-house investment operations function from scratch in Luxembourg as the firm expands its regulatory footprint. - **Language proficiency:** You are fluent in English, with knowledge of Italian considered a strong advantage. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. We believe in the power of different viewpoints and strengths. Your unique perspective is important as we build something special: if you're passionate and can make a difference, we truly encourage you to apply. **CareAbout: how we support your impact** We move fast, and evolution never stops. It’s a fun ride, but it can be challenging. To make sure our people truly thrive, we’re committed to making their lives easier, both in the office and out in the world. That’s why we created CareAbout: - ❤️ **Health:** private insurance for you and your family, psychological support with Serenis, mental health workshops. - 💰 **Financial resources:** Stock Option Plan, meal vouchers, relocation support if you’re moving countries. - ⚙️ **Growth and development:** professional development programs, internal mobility, language courses with Preply. - 🌱 **Flexibility:** unlimited PTO, hybrid working policy\*, flexible working hours. - 👨‍👩‍👧 **Family:** enhanced parental leave, additional leave for child sickness. *\* We embrace three days per week in-office (Tuesday and Thursday + 1 of your choice), with the option to request extra remote time.* **Equal opportunity employer** At Satispay, we're proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
