**Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.**
### Required:
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- Must be a US Citizen
- This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to Information Systems Security Engineering / Operations:
o Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience
o Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of experience
o Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of experience
o Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of experience
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher.
- Experience as an ISSO/ISSE with emphasis on Defense-in-Depth principles, network, and enterprise security architecture
- Experience applying the principles of the NIST 800-53 including the procedures in the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Familiarity with STE/STN requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with several of the following: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools.
- Experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
- Experience preparing and maintaining SSPs and other security related documentation.
- Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies, preferably on a large software or IT program.
- Demonstrated experience performing day-to-day security operations of large, complicated information and information processing systems.
### These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 or 3
- Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) Certification
- Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
- Ability to ensure the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system
- Support continuous monitoring of networks to detect and correct areas of security non-compliance, unmitigated vulnerabilities, and other risks
- Perform regular audits of information systems
- Assist the information systems security manager in preparing the information system for periodic reaccreditation
