IT Specialist - Officer - Post-trade Application - 12 months contract

Job Summary: Application is responsible for the design, implementation, and application support of HKEX’s market systems for clearing and settlement. Application makes up several specialized teams that have in-depth technology knowhow to support the on-going maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements and the development of next generation HKEX platforms. Job Duties: As IT specialist, you will perform application development, system testing and documentation of mission critical IT systems. You will also handle technical enquires and support testing by external and internal parties. Responsibilities: Develop s/w as per program specifications. Perform the unit tests and system tests. Perform performance testing and performance tuning work. Handle technical enquiries, perform investigation and support testing by external and internal parties related to the responsible IT systems Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. At least 2+ years’ experience in Java, Microservices and Container application development and support Proficiency in Java and SQL, Linux and Windows operating systems. Familiar with DevOps life cycles and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Git, Junit, docker, etc.) Experience in cloud technologies or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
