## **Job Description (JD)** ### **Role Summary** We are seeking a reliable and hardworking **Janitor** to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all assigned areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained according to organizational standards. --- ### **Key Responsibilities** - Clean and sanitize floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas - Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors - Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly - Clean windows, doors, furniture, and fixtures - Refill supplies such as soap, tissue paper, and sanitizers - Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors - Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards - Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely - Support deep-cleaning and special cleaning tasks when required --- ### **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals - Ability to follow instructions and schedules - Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods - Attention to cleanliness and detail - Honest, punctual, and dependable --- ### **Preferred Qualifications** - Prior experience as a janitor, cleaner, or housekeeping staff - Experience in office, hospital, school, or commercial facilities - Basic understanding of safety and hygiene standards --- ### **Work Conditions** - May require early morning, evening, or weekend shifts - Indoor and outdoor cleaning responsibilities - Standing and physical activity throughout the shift --- ### **Employment Type** - Full-time / Part-time / Contract (as applicable) **Summary** We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across our facility.
