Within Field Marketing, experienced Marketing Directors or Field Integrated Marketing Leaders in every OU (Operating Unit i.e. Area/Market) to represent and drive marketing end-to-end to the business. - **Commercial Solution Area (CSA)** Integrated Marketing with deep alignment to mainstream plays and regional scope. - Regional Centres of Excellence for **Experiential and Social/Digital**, **Operations and Analytics** delivering deep domain expertise. **Role Purpose of AI Transformation & Cross-Solution Area Integrated Marketing Manager:** This role leads cross‑solution integrated marketing to position Microsoft as the AI Transformation Partner in Japan, driving demand and thought leadership through AI‑focused storytelling and orchestration. Key Responsibilities - Develop and land AI transformation and cross-solution narratives tailored to the Japanese market - Lead marketing orchestration across solution areas for high quality customer experiences - Partner with CSA marketers, the Asia CMO team, and key stakeholders to maximize business impact The **AI Transformation & Cross-Solution Area Integrated Marketer** is role serves as Japan’s AI Transformation Cross-Solution Area Integrated marketing manager, responsible for shaping Microsoft’s position as the AI Transformation Partner in the Japanese market. The AI Transformation & Cross-Solution Area Integrated Marketer leads integrated marketing for AI Transformation in Japan, shaping Microsoft’s position as the AI Transformation Partner in the market. The role drives Japan‑specific narratives and cross‑solution orchestration to influence go‑to‑market strategy, accelerate demand, and build thought leadership. Success is measured by the effective landing of AI transformation messaging and tangible marketing impact for Japan OU, in close partnership with CMO Asia marketers, Cloud solution GTM teams, sellers, and various stakeholders in Japan, Asia, and corporate teams across organizations including senior leadership members. This role offers flexibility, with up to 50% remote work **Responsibilities** **Key Accountabilities:** - **Strategic Leadership to drive AI Transformation initiatives for Japan:** - - Represent AI Transformation marketing to Japan stakeholders and drive for impact in partnership with Japan Field IMMs, stakeholders across organizations - Take strategic ownership of key Japan AI Transformation programs to impact business at maximum, such as Flagship event AI Tours and CxO-targeted executive programs - Earn trust from key stakeholders to achieve expected outcomes obtaining prompt supports needed, to achieve aligned, win‑win outcomes to drive AI Transformation integrated marketing - Strategic thinking and prioritization; Communication & executive presence; Cross-organizational orchestration; Analytical decision-making; Growth mindset and adaptability. - **Business Impact:** - - Deliver measurable marketing impact in Japan, improve marketing outcomes for Japan, CSA (Cloud Solution Area) business, and customer Segments - Clearly articulate the business impact and outcomes of marketing investments by measuring impact on pipeline ensuring stakeholders acknowledge the value and impact of marketing on their business. - **Sales Enablement & Pipeline Creation:** Activate sellers through aligned Seller Rhythm of Business, enabling follow‑up on marketing signals to drive Stage 1 pipeline. Partner with GTM and Sales Excellence to accelerate pipeline creation from key marketing moments. - **Program Execution:** - - Deliver flagship moments such as Microsoft AI Tours to maximize value for Japan, ensuring outstanding audience experiences and achieving attendance targets for each location and segment. - Empower sellers to drive impacts post-key initiatives via. Strategic enablement initiatives - CXO Program – partner with Japan leadership team to deliver a local CXO strategy and programs that builds on Corp led initiatives and regional CXO engagement moments - **Governance & Responsible Marketing** Ensure quality, compliance, and governance while driving integrated and digital marketing execution, leveraging data, tools, and AI for continuous optimization. - **Collaboration:** Operate as one team across Field, Experiential, Social, CSA, Engines, and Engagement to ensure seamless execution beyond traditional role boundaries. **Responsibilities:** - **Senior leadership team** **& Stakeholder Engagement** – You are the key point of contact on AI Transformation integrated marketing in Japan, leading business reviews with Japan leadership and Sales stakeholders, and driving strong alignment between sales and marketing to accelerate pipeline impact. - **Integrated Marketing Planning** – Building from the Asia regional marketing strategy, you orchestrate the formulation of the Japan local marketing plan for AI Transformation aligned to business strategy and priorities for Japan, partnering closely with field marketers and stakeholders across Solution Areas, Sales, Operations, and agencies. - **Integrated Marketing Execution** – Lead and influence senior leaders and stakeholders to land AI Transformation marketing plans in Japan, with accountability for flagship programs such as AI Tours and CXO programs. - **Data-Driven Decision Making** – You drive with data & insights for a high-performance marketing culture to enable connected sales and marketing outcomes. You evangelize marketing impact in Japan and provide actionable feedback to CSA and Center of Excellence teams based on local market insights.. You proactively develop strategic responses based on data to specific market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and/or trends. - **Marketing Operations** **& Governance** – Ensure operational rigor, compliance with global standards (accessibility, privacy, security, brand), and high-quality execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. - **Budget Management** – Manage and track marketing budget and spend, ensuring ROI, quarterly spend alignment, and compliance with budget guidelines. - **Diversity and Inclusion mind set:** Promote diversity and inclusion to drive “one-team” impact while respecting local market and cultural relevance. **Qualifications** - 10+ years of experience in B-to-B marketing and commercial integrated marketing, including campaign planning and execution, digital marketing, event and program management, and marketing operations (reporting and analysis), or equivalent experience - Advanced business-level English required, including leading cross-team collaboration, discussions, managing complex HQ negotiations, and producing business reports - High business-level proficiency in Japanese required - Proven ability to engage confidently with senior executives and partners - Experience working in multinational or matrixed organizations is a plus - Experience in cloud, AI, security, and/or enterprise commercial marketing in IT field is a plus - Experience leading transformation initiatives or change management programs within organization is a plus - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or a related field is a plus This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. --- Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
