We are seeking qualified Apprentice and Journeyman Powerline Technicians.RequirementsRESPONSIBILITIES:Experience working on steel tower transmission line on puller/tension sitesMust have experience working with implodesRigging competency, experience operating man-liftsClimbing and working from heights up to 200 feet and working parallel to energized circuitsErect and maintain steel, wood or concrete poles, towers and guy wiresSplice, solder and insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power distribution and transmission networksOpen and close switches and install grounding devices to lines and equipment under the direct supervision of a Journeyman or Foreman.May climb poles and/or ride in bucket to install or repair wires, arms, insulators or other hardware on poles. Install and repair underground facilities such as cable, transformers, potheads and pedestals.Install pole hardware and auxiliary equipment such as transformers, lightning arresters, switches, fuses and insulators, using hand tools and mechanical devices. Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
