Accountabilities: Manage and prioritize an assigned caseload of appraisal orders, ensuring requests move efficiently through the workflow. Submit appraisal requests through Mercury Network and coordinate assignment to qualified appraisers within established service-level timeframes. Maintain efficient appraisal workflows using Encompass, Mercury Network, and other relevant systems. Process appraisal-related payments in accordance with established company and departmental policies. Maintain accurate tracking reports covering appraisal assignments from initial order through final completion. Communicate regularly with appraisers and appraisal management companies through designated platforms. Respond to customer emails and confirm appraisal appointment scheduling and related information. Support Processors, Underwriters, Loan Officers, and Loan Processors with appraisal ordering, condition management, and related tasks. Communicate product and service status clearly to customers while collaborating with vendors to resolve questions and keep orders moving. Monitor outstanding items, identify potential delays, and prioritize follow-up to maintain workflow efficiency. Perform additional operational duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements: Previous experience placing FHA and VA appraisal orders. Working knowledge of mortgage appraisal processes; broader appraisal knowledge is preferred. Familiarity with industry-standard computer programs and the ability to learn and navigate multiple workflow systems. Strong prioritization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple appraisal orders and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working effectively with customers, appraisers, vendors, and internal mortgage teams. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining consistent productivity and responsiveness. Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a deadline-driven setting. Customer-focused approach and ability to communicate progress, requirements, and potential delays professionally.
