This is a hands-on, travel-based role with strong earning potential through overtime. Position Overview The Junior Field Service Technician (S1) supports field execution across three core service areas: - Rework & Completion - Start-Up & Commissioning - Service After Commissioning You will perform foundational mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting tasks under supervision while developing technical skills in HVAC and cooling systems. Travel and Location Schedule: 2 weeks in the field / 1 week home (flexible based on projects) Open to candidates based in: Arizona Primary project locations: - Abilene, TX - Amarillo, TX - Wisconsin (project-based) - Mesa, AZ Travel requirement: 50–80% Why Join - $32–$36/hour base + consistent overtime - Typical earnings: $70K – $90K+ annually - Work on AI and data center infrastructure - Travel to large-scale, high-impact project sites - Hands-on training alongside experienced technicians - Clear path to mid-level (S2) and senior (S3) roles Key Responsibilities Rework & Completion - Perform basic mechanical and electrical rework per instructions - Support unit preparation for deployment - Report issues, defects, or missing components Start-Up & Commissioning - Assist with L2–L3 commissioning activities - Conduct inspections, torque checks, and system verification - Support controls and point-to-point checks - Complete service documentation accurately Service After Commissioning - Assist with basic troubleshooting and diagnostics - Perform simple component replacements and repairs - Support warranty service and preventive maintenance Requirements - 0–2 years of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or technical experience - Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems - Willingness to travel frequently (50–80%) - Ability to work overtime and extended hours - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn - Good communication and teamwork skills Certifications - EPA 608 Type I or II preferred - OSHA 10 required Compensation and Benefits - $32–$36/hour base pay + consistent overtime - High earning potential ($70K – $90K+ annually) - Travel opportunities across major project sites - Hands-on training with advanced HVAC and cooling systems - Career growth into higher-level technician roles
