To reinforce our team of experts, we are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 1-3 years of experience who views security as "understanding how systems truly work." This role requires a unique blend of automation expertise and a security analyst mindset. You will build and maintain automation frameworks, perform vulnerability assessments, conduct Mobile threat defense Application and SDK testing, and work closely with developers to ensure high-quality, secure software releases. **Location:** India (Bangalore Preferred) ## **Key Responsibilities** - Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing automated test scripts and frameworks. - Execute manual and automated test cases for Web and API applications to support sprint goals. - Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and track software defects in Jira. - Run regression, smoke, and sanity test suites and analyze results. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning) and contribute to test documentation. - Assist in integrating automated tests into TestOps under guidance. - Communicate testing progress and blockers to team members clearly. - Learn and adopt new testing tools and methodologies as required by the project. --- ## **Minimum Requirements** - 1-3 years of experience in software testing and automation. - Proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver. - Basic knowledge of API testing (e.g., REST Assured or Postman). - Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals. - Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control. ## **Required Skills** ### **Automation Testing** - Experience with Selenium WebDriver - Experience with API automation tools (e.g., REST Assured, Postman) - Familiarity with UI and API automation framework maintenance - TestNG/JUnit/PyTest experience - Understanding of data-driven testing concepts - Page Object Model (POM) implementation ## **Nice to Have** - Performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner - Security testing basics - Docker knowledge - Cross-browser testing - Mobile testing experience --- ## **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 1-3 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation. - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. --- ## **Preferred Experience** - Experience building automation frameworks from scratch. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. - Experience testing Web and APIs. - Experience with CI/CD implementation. - Ability to troubleshoot automation failures efficiently. --- **Mandatory Technical Skills** - Selenium WebDriver - Java - API Testing - SQL - Git - Jira - Agile Methodology
