Primary Responsibilities The Junior Developer – 4D Database / 4D Server supports the maintenance, development, and optimization of the company's 4D-based system landscape. The role includes server administration, database development, and technical support for internal users and client systems. Specific Responsibilities Ensure stable operation of the 4D server environment Perform maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, and performance optimization Support further development of the 4D database (4D language, structures, forms, business logic) Analyze system errors and implement sustainable fixes Provide technical support (1st–2nd level) for internal users and clients, including troubleshooting and training Contribute to new modules, automation processes, APIs, and integration projects Create and maintain technical documentation Collaborate with business units to implement functional requirements Ensure compliance with internal IT, security, and quality standards Qualifications Profile Completed technical training or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent Experience with the 4D database environment or strong willingness to learn Basic understanding of database concepts and programming logic Strong interest in development, debugging, and continuous system improvement Structured, reliable work style with high sense of responsibility Strong communication skills and enjoyment in supporting users Required Skills Good programming knowledge (e.g., 4D, SQL, JavaScript or similar) Understanding of client/server architectures Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Strong attention to detail and quality awareness Ability to communicate technical topics clearly Good English communication skills Additional Information
