Junior DevOps/SysAdmin (m/f/d)

Job description

Our partner is looking for a Junior DevOps/SysAdmin (m/f/d) to join their team. This is a full-time permanent, hybrid position in Munich, Germany. Your responsibilities: Support the configuration and operation of Linux-based systems and work closely with developers to scale infrastructure in a growing environment. Contribute to the maintenance and automation of server setups using Saltstack and help evolve internal DevOps processes. Implement and improve backup, monitoring, and deployment strategies across the rental car business unit. Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline system configurations and continuous integration workflows. Required qualifications: Initial hands-on experience in system administration with Debian Linux and familiarity with rollout tools like Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Working knowledge of shell scripting, Nginx, PHP-FPM, and MySQL (including replication and backup strategies); basic understanding of network infrastructure. Interested in technologies like Elasticsearch, Redis, and containerized deployment using Docker. German (C1); English (B2).
