Junior Managers Program (Trainee) - Start your Leadership Journey in Controlling

Job description

Ready to steer Bosch's performance? We are looking for analytically strong master’s graduates who will shape data-driven corporate steering with us in our Junior Managers Program and aspire to build a leadership career starting in Controlling. Over 12 to 24 months, you will rotate through key controlling and finance departments in Germany and abroad. Your mission: understand business models, build expertise in operational and strategic controlling, and take on initial leadership responsibility in projects—ranging from performance analysis to M&A deals—guided by top executives. What you will learn and develop with us: You will learn how global corporate goals are translated into measurable KPIs and how the financial performance of a tech company is steered to enable data-driven decisions. You will actively co-create the financial planning, reporting, and analysis for our business units and evaluate strategic projects such as M&A transactions. You will work with modern controlling instruments, BI systems, and agile methodologies to further develop Bosch’s financial steering architecture. At the same time, you will be accompanied by a personal executive-level mentor to prepare you specifically for your future role as a leader in the commercial environment at Bosch. Your career path begins in controlling and develops toward initial leadership tasks in the commercial sector or leading strategic M&A projects. Your academic foundation: You have graduated with an outstanding (full-time) Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Your focus lies on topics such as controlling, finance, accounting, or corporate finance. Perhaps you already bring an MBA, PhD, or initial relevant work experience. Your passion for digital transformation in finance: You are naturally curious and ready to quickly learn and apply new methodologies and digital tools in controlling. Initial experience with BI tools, SAP, or data analysis projects is a major plus. Your eye for the bigger picture: You find it fascinating to understand how a global enterprise operates and are highly motivated to support corporate goals through effective commercial steering. Your understanding of human-centric leadership: You live by the conviction that outstanding results only emerge by empowering people. Utilizing emotional intelligence and empathy, you foster an environment where human potential is unlocked and contributes to the success of the entire team. You think strategically and shape the future: You recognize the big picture, derive a clear vision from it as a leader, and develop the roadmap that takes us there. You have already gathered valuable initial insights into corporate steering, ideally through internships or working student positions. Your continuous development: In our dynamic environment, you leverage your ability to learn quickly every day, continuously developing yourself—a growth mindset that we actively support and nurture. Your language proficiency: You communicate fluently in English (negotiation level) and possess good German language skills (B2 level) to navigate confidently within both our international and local environments. Why you will love being part of our community We are deeply invested in the growth of our team members. We have created an environment where you are supported, valued, and empowered to do your best work. Mentoring & Sponsoring: An executive-level mentor will accompany you on your journey, actively support your development, and open doors for your next career steps with us. A culture of belonging: From day one, you will become part of a global community of trainees from diverse backgrounds and locations. Build authentic connections beyond formal projects through virtual hangouts, local meetups, or our (global) trainee summits. Flexible & hybrid working: We trust you to manage your work in a way that fits your life, with a flexible start date and a permanent employment contract. We offer a hybrid model that combines office and remote collaboration. Continuous learning: Benefit from up to 6 rotations across different departments, including an international rotation, supported by a generous budget for your professional development (courses, certifications, and conferences).
