We're looking for a Junior Mobile Developer to join our Digital team and help build the React Native app used by our customers across iOS and Android. This isn't a purely task-based junior role. We value curious people who ask why and think problems through before jumping to a solution. We'll support your growth with regular code reviews, pairing with experienced engineers and ongoing feedback from your tech lead. Nice to have • Familiarity with TDD and shift-left testing • Exposure to mobile E2E tools like Maestro, Detox or Appium • Awareness of CI/CD pipelines, automation and feature flags • Experience contributing to an App Store or Google Play release • Familiarity with crash reporting, logging and monitoring tools Your life at MECCA We're singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, and we know that wouldn't be possible without an incredible team guided by our values. We're solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and we have a bit of fun along the way. Some of the perks: • Professional development programs and first-class digitised learning • Health and wellbeing initiatives • Reward and recognition programs • Access to bonus and incentive programs • Quarterly product allowance • Generous discount for you and your immediate family (subject to company policy) To support your growth and learning, this role involves close collaboration with the team and requires four days per week in our Richmond office.
