# Junior SecOps Engineer > Advansys · Nasr City, Egypt (Hybrid) · — · Posted 2025-05-20 **Workplace:** hybrid **Department:** FORTE CLOUD ## Description - Assist in the monitoring and management of security tools and technologies to enhance organizational security posture. - Support incident response activities by investigating alerts and helping to resolve security incidents. - Participate in routine vulnerability assessments and security audits. - Help maintain and update security documentation and procedures. - Collaborate with team members to implement security policies and procedures. - Engage in continuous learning to develop skills in SecOps and cybersecurity practices. - Assist in the maintenance of cloud infrastructures and services from a security standpoint. - Support the implementation and improvement of security monitoring solutions. - Document findings and contribute to reports on security assessments. ## Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in a security-focused role or internship. - Basic knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies. - Familiarity with cloud security concepts and platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus. - Understanding of networking concepts, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems. - Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Willingness to learn about security tools (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, IDS/IPS) and cloud security solutions. - Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) are a plus but not mandatory. ## Benefits - Hybrid working model - Social and medical insurance - Transportation ## Apply [Apply at Advansys](https://apply.workable.com/advansys-esc-1/j/3838D64970/apply) --- Powered by [Workable](https://www.workable.com)
