# Junior Systems Engineer - Microsoft Infrastructure > Optimiza · Amman, Jordan · Full-time · Posted 2026-08-02 **Workplace:** on_site **Department:** Cloud & Digital Services (CDS) ## Description **Senior Systems Engineer – Microsoft Infrastructure** **About the Role** We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Systems Engineer to join our Microsoft Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions for our customers while providing expert-level troubleshooting and technical support for complex infrastructure environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring junior engineers. The Senior Systems Engineer will work closely with customers to understand their business requirements, architect appropriate solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and deliver enterprise infrastructure projects for enterprise customers. - Lead technical engagements and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Microsoft infrastructure technologies. - Build, present, and clearly articulate technical solutions that address customer business and technical requirements. - Collaborate with customers, project managers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. - Lead, mentor, and support junior engineers by sharing knowledge, providing technical guidance, and promoting professional growth. - Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives and encourage the adoption of best practices across the team. - Identify technical risks and challenges proactively and implement effective mitigation strategies. - Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance service offerings. - Maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. ## Requirements **Education** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. **Experience** - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in a customer-facing enterprise IT environment. - Proven experience delivering enterprise infrastructure projects and supporting enterprise customers. **Technical Skills** Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with: - Active Directory - Microsoft Exchange Server - Hyper-V - Windows Server - Microsoft SQL Server - Microsoft System Center Products - Microsoft Azure - Microsoft Entra ID - Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Defender - Microsoft Intune - Microsoft Purview **Required Competencies** - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. - Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
