We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the team at Sandbar, our beachfront venue in the heart of Surfers Paradise. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for 20–25 hours per week, working primarily across our busy breakfast shifts. What you’ll be doing Supporting the kitchen team with cleaning and general kitchen duties Washing dishes, pots and pans Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised Assisting with deliveries, stock movement and rubbish removal Helping the chefs with basic kitchen tasks when required Following food safety and workplace hygiene standards Working as part of a fast-paced and supportive kitchen team About you Reliable, hardworking and punctual Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene Able to work well as part of a team Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential Positive attitude and willingness to learn The role 20-25 hours per week Breakfast shifts - approximately 8am-2pm Work right by the beach in the heart of Surfers Paradise Why join Sandbar?
