Job Title: L2/L3 Support Engineer Key Skills: Production Support, Java 8+ or C, C++, or Angular and experience with one of the following scripting languages, Shell script, Perl, JavaScript, or Python Experience: 5+ years Location Mexico City or Guadalajara Mode: Hybrid We at Coforge are hiring Position (22655) with the following skill set. As a Production Management Specialist you will play a critical role in supporting the Firm various business functions through effective management of technologies and systems. ## **Responsibilities** - Collaborate with team members to analyze and resolve application issues. - Identify defects, discrepancies, and trends through code debugging and log analysis. - Manage incidents and communicate effectively with users, application owners, and senior stakeholders. - Enhance application stability and performance by identifying patterns and advising on permanent fixes. - Utilize tools developed by the Engineering team to automate failure responses and monitor production health. - Identify and automate alerts and processes in collaboration with theEngineering team. - Challenge existing application setups and suggest improvements for stability. - Participate actively in the Change Management process to manage production risks. - Develop and improve run books to minimize operational errors and enhance efficiency. - Create reports that provide trending statistics to track application health and service performance. - Willingness to learn and support proprietary technologies not available in the marketplace. ### **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor?s degree (U.S. or equivalent) and five (5) years of software development/production support experience. - Strong understanding of Data Structures and their practical applications. - Proven problem-solving skills in development or production environments, including root cause analysis. - Proficient in UNIX troubleshooting, ETL/batch processes, and capacity management. - Excellent communication skills to articulate technical and functional aspects of problems to drive solutions. - Proficiency in Java 8+ and one of the following programming languages: C, C++, or Angular. - Experience with one of the following scripting languages: Shell script, Perl, JavaScript, or Python. - Familiarity with RDBMS environments such as Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle, or DB2. ### **Required Qualifications** - Experience in the Financial Services Industry. - Knowledge of Cluster Computing and Big Data solutions (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, HDFS) using public cloud. - Degree in Computer Science.
