*This is a Work Experience (work-based learning) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined. Job Title: Laundry Helper Position: PT, Days and hours to be arranged Location: Corpus Christi Second Chance Employer: No Pay Rate $10.00 an hour Age: 18+ Recruiter B Garza Tasks: Load articles into washers or dry-cleaning machines, or direct other workers to perform loading. Start washers, dry cleaners, driers, or extractors, and turn valves or levers to regulate machine processes and the volume of soap, detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives. Remove items from washers or dry-cleaning machines, or direct other workers to do so. Sort and count articles removed from dryers, and fold, wrap, hang them and/or fold them.
