In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high profile projects at the cutting edge of the software industry. | | | | --- | --- | | **Location** | Fully Remote/ European Residence required | | **Compensation** | Salary | | **Work Schedule** | Full time/ Flexible working hours | | **Reports to** | Head of Engineering | | **Member of** | Engineering Team | **To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:** - 10+ years development experience with backend technologies, including experience with modern backend architecture (i.e. microservices, etc.) - Significant development experience with C# and .NET. - Experience building and deploying solutions on cloud services (Azure preferred) - Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, distributed applications using independent services, focusing on APIs, containers, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and CI/CD. - Hands-on experience contributing to AI/ML-enabled products, such as integrating ML models or AI services into production backend systems (e.g., APIs, pipelines, inference services). - Experience collaborating with ML/AI specialists to translate models into scalable, reliable backend solutions (deployment, monitoring, performance, data flow). - Team Leadership and management experience - Fast learner with a can-do attitude and exceptional problem-solving abilities - Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively on remote projects - English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English) - A degree in computer science (or equivalent) **Ideal candidates will also have:** - Experience in a client-facing role managing and delivering software engineering projects - Experience architecting solutions on modern backend platforms - Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) - Strong understanding of DevOps concepts/process and CI/CD tools - Understanding of React.js and its core principles. **Why join Janea?
