Essa posição é para atuar em regime presencial, em Contagem, MG. Who will you be working with? You will work with the Controls Engineering and Validation teams , collaborating with system engineers, software developers, lab teams, and global stakeholders. This role also interfaces with external partners and cross-functional teams involved in design, testing, and deployment. How will you make a difference? As a Senior Software Engineer focused on IV&V (Integration, Verification & Validation), you will ensure the reliability and quality of locomotive control software prior to deployment. You will lead the development and execution of test strategies across multiple platforms, including HITL, MITL, and real locomotive environments. This role is critical in validating system performance, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement of testing methodologies, contributing directly to safe and robust product delivery. What do we want to know about you? Required Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Large experience in design, testing, or validation engineering. Strong experience with IV&V activities and system-level validation. Hands-on experience with HITL, MITL, SITL, or system-level testing (Rail or Automotive preferred). Experience developing test procedures for control software and embedded systems. Strong understanding of control systems and communication protocols (RS232/422, CAN, Ethernet). Experience with test life cycle tools (e.g., ClearQuest or equivalent). Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work hands-on in lab and field (locomotive) environments. Availability to travel ( . Culture powers us and the possibilities.
