Review our [Statement of Faith](https://adflegal.org/about-us/careers/statement-of-faith/) to ensure we’re a fit for you. **Location:** Lansdowne, VA **Team Overview** The Legal Administrative Assistant is a vital part of the US Legal Advocacy Team and will be responsible for assisting your assigned team members in a variety of administrative tasks. **Key Responsibilities** - Act in a confidential capacity while anticipating and supporting the needs of assigned attorneys and team members. - Manage clerical responsibilities and special projects with direct supervision, including maintaining case files in the Litigation database and electronic document management systems. - Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, binders (pleadings and research), basic court filings (including CM/ECF), pro hac vice motions, court admissions paperwork, and presentations, reports, and organizational charts. - Coordinate administrative functions, including managing Outlook calendars, scheduling meetings and events, arranging travel itineraries, maintaining office supplies/IT support, and serving as backup for other assistants. - Process operational tasks such as reconciling purchase card expenses, submitting invoices and vouchers, preparing shipping labels and packages (UPS/FedEx), and handling faxing, scanning, copying, and collating legal documents and exhibits. - Create, maintain, and organize hard-copy and electronic files while preparing client, court, and attorney correspondence and ensuring proper filing of court documents. **Minimum Qualifications** - 1+ years of legal administrative experience. - Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills. **Pay & Benefits** At Alliance Defending Freedom, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to support your well-being and growth.
