Legal Counsel

Job description

We are currently partnered with B2Spin who are on the lookout for a Legal Counsel to join their team in Gibraltar or Malta. About B2Spin We are B2Spin, and we are dedicated to delivering the best Free-to-Play Social Casino and gaming experiences by creating captivating, engaging, and unique products that are accessible to everyone. We have built a team of talented professionals from all over the globe, who are working to continually improve the experiences of our players. We are not looking to just be part of the industry, but to revolutionize it. The role B2Spin is a fast-growing social casino and gaming company headquartered in Gibraltar, and we're looking for a commercially sharp Legal Counsel to help us scale. This is a broad, hands-on role at the heart of the business — advising across commercial, regulatory, corporate, and compliance matters as we expand into new global markets. If you thrive on variety, move quickly, and want your legal work to have genuine strategic impact, this is the role for you. What you'll do Draft, negotiate, and close a wide range of commercial contracts — from vendor agreements to high-value partnerships — keeping the business moving without unnecessary friction. Serve as the go-to legal partner for internal teams, translating complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance that enables confident decision-making. Lead legal risk management across the organisation, identifying exposure early and building the controls that protect us as we grow. Support global expansion by navigating jurisdiction-specific regulatory requirements, licensing frameworks, and cross-border compliance obligations. Oversee corporate governance including board support, statutory filings, and record-keeping, ensuring our foundations remain solid. Manage external counsel relationships effectively, keeping quality high and spend in check. Build legal capability across the company through training, policy development, and scalable templates that help every team work smarter. What we're looking for Qualified solicitor (UK or equivalent) with 3–5+ years post-qualification experience, including meaningful in-house exposure. Background in tech, gaming, or a fast-paced digital business — you understand how these industries operate and what good legal support looks like inside them. Broad commercial law grounding across contracts, IP, data protection, regulatory compliance, and corporate matters. Proven ability to manage the full contract lifecycle while working directly with commercial and product teams. Comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments simultaneously. Strong drafting and negotiation skills paired with genuinely clear communication — you can hold your own in a boardroom and a Slack channel. A solutions-first mindset: you spot problems early, propose fixes quickly, and know when to escalate. What we offer A meaningful seat at the table — shaping the legal and compliance framework of a global technology company from the ground up. Competitive compensation with performance incentives and ongoing professional development support. A collaborative, agile culture where your contributions are visible and your voice is heard. The chance to work on genuinely interesting legal challenges at the frontier of interactive entertainment. Our values At B2Spin, we care deeply about Passion — we love building great things and want people around us who feel the same. We run on Performance: we hold ourselves accountable, stay transparent with one another, and back progress over perfectionism every time. Equal opportunities We hire based on skills, drive, and ideas — nothing else. Your background, gender, age, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, religion, neurodiversity, or educational path will never be a barrier to joining us. We also welcome candidates from non-traditional career journeys and value diverse perspectives that challenge conventional thinking. Diversity fuels our innovation, collaboration, and growth, and we're committed to creating an environment where everyone can contribute their best work and thrive.
