Job Summary: A Licensed Practical Nurse (10 Months) provides practical nursing care to patients and clients under the direction of a physician or a registered nurse. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities. Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class may work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends. Work is performed in a clinic, an office or the client's home where they may be exposed to illness, disease and stressful conditions. Work requires minimal physical exertion. Minimum Qualifications: On or before the date of filing the application, each candidate must: Experience: Have Two years of experience as a licensed practical nurse.
