**Job Title:** Licensed Special Education Teacher – SWD Certified (Ages 3–5) **Company:** LBAPS **Location:** Airmont, NY **Job Type:** Full-Time **Pay:** $70 per hour --- **About Us** LBAPS is dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are growing our team and seeking a warm, dedicated Licensed Special Education Teacher to join our preschool in Airmont, NY. **About the Role** We are looking for a NYS-certified educator with a Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification to work with preschool-aged children (3–5 years old) in a structured, nurturing environment. Hours are 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Thursday, and Friday 8:45 - 1:00 PM **Responsibilities** - Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction to children ages 3–5 in alignment with IEP goals - Plan and implement engaging daily lessons tailored to each child's individual needs - Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment - Monitor and document each child's developmental progress and communicate with families - Collaborate with clinical staff, therapists, and support personnel - Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings **Qualifications** - Valid NYS teaching license required - Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification required - Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) - Familiarity with children with ASD or developmental delays is a plus - Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills - Passion for early childhood development and making a meaningful impact **Compensation & Schedule** - Pay: $70 per hour - Hours: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Thursday, Friday 8:45 - 1 PM - Job Type: Full-Time - Location: Airmont, NY **To Apply:** Send your resume to [admin@growingstarsedu.com](mailto:admin@growingstarsedu.com)
