Life Sciences MedTech Commercial, Management Consulting Senior Manager

We Are: Accenture’s Life Sciences MedTech Practice sits at the forefront of commercial innovation. In the face of increasing external macrodynamic and customer cost pressures, we partner with leading MedTech organizations to evolve their commercial engines to drive both topline growth and better execution. From commercial strategy and growth acceleration to sales transformation, channel optimization, AI-enabled customer engagement, and commercial operations, we help leading MedTech organizations reinvent how they bring products and services to market. Our work spans commercial operating model transformation, commercial excellence, omnichannel engagement, commercialization of data and digital solutions, and next-generation revenue growth strategies powered by AI. We are looking for leaders who share our passion for commercial innovation and want to help us grow this foundational pillar of our MedTech business. You Are: A natural connector. You build relationships with senior commercial and marketing leaders at MedTech companies, identify where the real pain is, and turn those conversations into scoped, signed engagements. An AI enthusiast with substance. You understand how AI and data are reshaping MedTech commercial and marketing organizations and you can speak credibly about it in front of a skeptical business leader. A MedTech insider. You understand the commercial process across different MedTech segments, from commercial strategy to marketing to field sales to commercial enablement. You have the segment depth to be seen as a peer, not just a consultant. A commercial transformation leader. You understand how commercial strategy, sales, marketing, pricing, contracting, customer success, field service, and commercial operations work together to drive growth. You can connect strategic vision with the operational changes required to deliver measurable business outcomes. A builder. You thrive in white space. You're energized by creating something — a new client relationship, a new capability, a new team — rather than maintaining what already exists. A leader worth following. Your teams deliver quality work on time because they want to, not because they have to. You invest in developing people and leave every engagement with talent that's grown. The Work: This is not a delivery-only role. We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Manager who can walk into a room with a Business Unit President or General Manager, earn their trust, and originate meaningful work - then lead a team to deliver it exceptionally. You will be a key driver of our MedTech Commercial growth agenda: building client relationships from scratch, shaping compelling propositions, closing engagements, and developing the next generation of Accenture consultants. AI fluency is central to how we work and what we sell. You will help MedTech clients rethink growth in a rapidly changing environment, helping them deploy AI, redesign commercial operating models, optimize go-to-market strategies, improve productivity, and unlock new sources of revenue. Key Responsibilities: Establish and manage business development pipeline of new client engagements across the MedTech industry — including top OEMs and digital health companies Develop C-suite and VP-level client relationships, positioning Accenture as a long-term strategic partner in commercial reinvention. Lead commercial transformation programs including commercial operating model redesign, sales excellence, omnichannel engagement, commercial enablement, and go-to-market optimization. Partner with clients to evaluate, design and scale AI and advanced analytics to improve commercial decision-making, territory design, lead generation, customer segmentation, channel effectiveness, and field productivity, improving both efficiency and topline metrics Develop business cases and value realization roadmaps that quantify revenue growth, productivity improvements, and customer experience outcomes. Shape and pitch compelling propositions that connect Accenture’s capabilities – strategy, technology, AI, and operations – to our clients’ most urgent commercial challenges Lead global, high-performing consulting teams delivering commercial and marketing engagements across MedTech segments Build and scale Accenture offerings, assets, and thought leadership across AI-enabled commercial transformation and MedTech growth strategy. Mentor and develop junior talent, building the next generation of Accenture's MedTech Commercial practice. Travel - candidate should be willing to travel up to 75% to client locations. Here's What You Need: Minimum of 8 years of MedTech commercial experience and expertise, including sales, marketing, commercial operations, commercial excellence, market access, customer engagement, or business unit leadership. Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial and marketing continuums from strategy to execution. Minimum of 8 years in at least one area: cardiovascular, surgery, diabetes, diagnostics, digital health, or adjacent fields. Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience, with a strong track record of delivery, business development, and client origination. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated ability to build senior client relationships independently and convert them into revenue — a proven hunter, not just a relationship manager. Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience applying or selling AI, data, or digital solutions within a commercial or marketing context. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Bonus Points If: Experience with leading commercial technology platforms including Salesforce, Veeva, Microsoft, Adobe, ServiceNow, or AI-enabled commercial platforms. Experience commercializing connected devices, software, services, data products, or digital health solutions. An existing network of senior commercial, marketing, or business leaders at MedTech companies who see you as a trusted advisor A track record of building and managing a pipeline with discipline: staged opportunities, conversion metrics, and a clear point of view on where to invest your time. Experience helping clients build AI-enabled commercial and marketing organizations — not just recommending AI, but designing and implementing it. Thought leadership presence — publications, conference appearances, or a professional reputation in the MedTech commercial/marketing space.
