Lifecycle & CRM Operations Specialist

Job description

# **Dave vs. Goliath. We’re Dave.** Dave is a financial app on a mission to build products that level the financial playing field. It is redefining the financial landscape by leveraging technology to create an affordable, transparent, and user-centric access to liquidity for millions of Americans. As a leading innovator in the U.S. financial services sector, Dave’s digital financial platform offers products designed to meet the credit needs of those underserved by traditional financial institutions. Dave’s offerings include its flagship ExtraCash product, providing members up to $500 within minutes. The company is on track to launch several new product offerings in 2026, including a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) option. Dave is focused on serving Americans who are financially vulnerable or living paycheck to paycheck. Dave is leading the charge in creating a new era of credit products that prioritizes speed, affordability, and accessibility, making it the go-to financial partner for those who need it most. We’re looking for a Lifecycle & CRM Operations Specialist to build, test, and troubleshoot the complex Braze canvases and campaigns that reach Dave’s members, and keep member communications accurate and on time for Dave. ## **The Opportunity** This is an individual contributor role inside Lifecycle Marketing. You own the build and the QA for every canvas that reaches Dave’s more than 14 million members – branching logic, personalization, trigger timing, and the checks that catch a problem before a member ever sees it. ## **What you’ll build and own** - Build and configure complex, multi-step Braze canvases – branching logic, audience entry, personalization, and trigger-based journeys. - Perform end-to-end quality assurance reviews for CRM campaigns, including email/sms/push/in-app, customer journeys, triggered communications, and promotional campaigns - Partner with Lifecycle Strategy teams, creative teams, and martech teams to ensure campaign requirements are implemented correctly and align with approved business specifications - Investigate live campaign issues using Braze logs, segmentation reports, and performance data, partnering with Data and Engineering to fix them. - Collaborate with Data Analytics and martech to ensure lifecycle marketing experiments and metrics are accurate, consistently defined, and updated across relevant dashboards. - Validate the data behind the send: custom attributes, event schema, and catalog or Connected Content feeds, so a correct canvas doesn't ship against stale or mismatched source data. - Build and maintain the QA checklists and documentation that keep the system auditable as campaign volume grows. Run the response when a live campaign goes wrong: pause or stop the send, size member impact, escalate, and write up the control that prevents a repeat. - Route copy, disclosures, and campaign changes through Legal and Compliance review, and keep a clear record of what’s approved. ## **The impact** Every canvas you build and QA is a transaction, an alert, or an offer reaching a member who is counting on it being right. Catching an error before it ships protects trust Dave can’t easily rebuild. ## **What we’re looking for** - 3+ years of hands-on Braze experience, building and QAing complex canvases - Experience with complex canvas or journey logic – branching, trigger-based sends, liquid personalization, multi-step audience entry - Experience with HTML and demonstrated ability to build, understand, and triage HTML for email rendering issues - A track record of catching errors before launch, from segmentation mismatches to broken triggers to bad personalization tokens - Comfortable using AI, SQL, or other tools to verify segment, audience, or cohort logic across canvases and campaigns. - Strong documentation instincts, and experience working directly with Legal or Compliance teams on review and sign-off - Experience in a regulated industry such as fintech, healthcare, or insurance is a plus ## **What makes someone successful** You take ownership of the quality bar for everything that ships, and you know the difference between a cosmetic issue and one that reaches a member incorrectly. You build a process where none exists instead of waiting for someone else to define it. When new information changes the path forward, you adjust thoughtfully while keeping momentum. Feedback and collaboration sharpen the work. ## **What to expect** You’ll have meaningful ownership in shaping the QA and build process behind Dave’s lifecycle program. Some opportunities will be clear. Others will require experimentation and creative thinking. Decisions here are grounded in data, member impact, and long-term business outcomes. ## **Why join Dave** - Build the quality bar behind financial communications that reach millions of members who depend on getting them right - Shape a QA process for a Lifecycle marketing team that’s growing in complexity and capabilities, with real room to define how it’s done - Work alongside and learn from an established Lifecycle Marketing team that has been with Dave for 5+ years. - Contribute to a profitable, publicly traded fintech serving more than 14 million members **Ready to build for the underdog?** Reports to: Director, Lifecycle Marketing *Don’t let imposter syndrome get in the way of an incredible opportunity. We’re looking for people who can help us achieve our mission and vision, not just check off the boxes. If you’re excited about this role, we encourage you to apply.
