Lifecycle Marketing Specialist

Job description

About The Role You'll own email and SMS across our brand portfolio: building and optimising automated flows, running campaign sends, and turning our CRM into a genuine conversion, retention and reactivation channel. You'll work closely with the growth team on strategy and design, and with the tech team on data and triggers, but day-to-day execution, testing and performance are yours. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys the mechanics of lifecycle marketing (customer journey, triggers, segmentation, data hygiene) as much as the copy of the emails. What You'll Own Automation and flows Build, maintain and optimise lifecycle flows in HubSpot: onboarding, consult and prescription journeys, repeat order and refill reminders, win-back, post-purchase, etc. Map customer journeys per brand and identify gaps where automation should exist but doesn't Work with internal and external technical partners to set up triggers from connected platforms (e.g. checkout, booking, forms, customer support tools) where native integrations fall short Campaigns Plan and send campaign emails and SMS across multiple brands and markets Run reactivation programs for lapsed and dormant contacts, including engagement-tiered segmentation and sunset policies Write copy for emails and SMS that is clear, on-brand and compliant Use AI tools to speed up copy development, subject line testing and reporting, within our data privacy and compliance guidelines. Segments, deliverability and performance Own list health: bounce and suppression management, engagement tiering, marketing contact management, and sender reputation Build and maintain segments and lists A/B test subject lines, content, timing and flow structure, and report on results Track and report on lifecycle performance: open, click and conversion rates, revenue contribution, retention and reactivation outcomes What You’ll Need Must have: 3 to 5+ years in email/CRM/lifecycle marketing, in-house or agency Hands-on experience building automations in HubSpot (or Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc., with a willingness to get deep in HubSpot fast) Strong understanding of triggers, workflow logic, segmentation and list management Solid copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone across multiple brands Working knowledge of deliverability fundamentals (authentication, bounce handling, engagement-based sending) Experience and understanding of AI tools Comfortable with basic email design and editing templates in drag-and-drop builders; HTML/CSS familiarity is a plus Nice-to-have: TGA & AHPRA: Experience with or an understanding of creating legally compliant advertising under these governing bodies Experience with Hubspot X Claude (and other AI tools) Experience in healthcare, telehealth, pharmacy or another regulated category Experience with SMS platforms and SMS compliance Familiarity with how triggers work across connected platforms (e.g. checkout, booking and form events) and how they feed into automation Multi-market experience (AU, NZ, UK) How You Will be Supported Team You will be part of a growing marketing team where you have direct access to Growth and Brand leaders to help shape your work and career Our team culture is important to us and the leadership works hard to ensure the team feels fulfilled and valued Process Hands-on support from the Growth Marketing Lead to get set up in your tools, systems and first builds Structured onboarding, including a walkthrough of existing flows, property and lifecycle definitions, data integrations and brand-by-brand context Weekly check-ins (can be more than weekly early on) focused on unblocking you, whether that's access, data, creative or a second opinion on a journey Clear briefing and approval workflows, with legal and compliance support built in so you're never left guessing on what can be said Resourcing Growth Marketing Leadership will stay involved and available throughout the process from briefing to execution Legal Counsel ensures advertising maintains all legal approvals Access to designers to bring your ideas to life We have recently completed an agency-led design project to build an email toolkit that can easily be adapted for other markets and different triggers Remote Work A fully remote company with an additional annual overseas work policy (you must be majority based in Australia) 6-Month Success Measurements Flow coverage: Core flows (email + SMS) live across all 6 brands; majority of AU journey covered (80%+ of mapped stages) Flow performance (AU): Flow conversion and click rate up vs Month 1 baseline Reactivation: Reactivation programmes run across brands, reactivation rate reported vs baseline Lifecycle contribution: Lifecycle leads/revenue contribution tracked and reported for all brands List health and deliverability: Deliverability score is up vs baseline; bounce, spam, unsubs not increasing.
