As an In-Office Loan Officer Assistant , you’ll play a vital role in creating a smooth, positive experience for our clients while supporting a high-performing Loan Officer throughout the loan process. You’ll be a key point of contact for clients, helping guide them from application through closing and ensuring important details and follow-ups stay on track. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Depending on background and experience Help manage the Loan Officer’s day-to-day tasks Manage and respond to emails from clients and business partners Answer and route calls during business hours Help organize and maintain the Loan Officer’s pipeline Assist with borrower communication and follow-up Help collect outstanding documents from clients Keep files, tasks, and follow-ups organized throughout the loan process Assist with marketing initiatives, social media, and events Visit communities, builders, real estate offices, and referral partners as needed QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Must be able to work in-office at our Franklin, TN branch Personable, positive, and professional when working with coworkers, clients, and business partners Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to learn new technology and become comfortable using new systems and tools Marketing experience or an interest in learning marketing is highly preferred Mortgage and/or real estate knowledge is a plus but not required Previous administrative assistant or similar experience preferred Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Professional, dependable, and able to handle sensitive information with care SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Reports: N/A PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: This role operates in an ADA-compliant office environment and utilizes typical office equipment, including computers and other standard office technology. The position may involve periods of stationary work as well as movement throughout the office during the day. Flexibility to work overtime, as needed, to meet business or project deadlines may be required. COMPENSATION: This is an hourly position with the potential to earn additional bonus compensation. Compensation is based on factors including experience, administrative skills, education, mortgage experience, and prior industry experience. Due to geographic hiring restrictions, residents of California, Colorado, and New York are currently excluded from consideration for this role.
