Description of Work The duties for this position include the repair and construction of components necessary to keep the facility and surrounding property in proper working condition for the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents and staff. Included in the scope of work are 224,000 square foot main structure, nine 1,500 square foot cottages, 1080 interior doors, and 20 +/- acres of grounds. Cabinet making and hanging, carpentry work, masonry work, dry-wall installation, building partitions as needed, roofing, hanging doors and windows, building picture frames and other items for the comfort and well-being of the residents at this facility. General maintenance duties, as assigned. ABOUT BLACK MOUNTAIN NEURO-MEDICAL TREATMENT CENTER: Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is one of three state operated facilities serving adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision, daily nursing care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
