## Job Description **What's on the menu?** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to join our R&D team in Nijmegen. **Facility Maintenance Technician at a glance ...** You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's equipment, systems, and infrastructure. The Facility Maintenance Technician is the handy-man of our facility. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to prevent downtime and ensure a safe working environment. **Key Ingredients:** - Responsible for routine maintenance tasks; cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure equipment, systems and facilities are functioning properly - Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, technical - Repair, install or replaced damaged fixtures and equipment - Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems for the building - Inspecting equipment and systems, to identify potential issues - Collaborate with R&D staff to understand equipment and system requirements and provide technical support as needed - Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, such as work orders on maintenance list - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve maintenance processes and procedures - Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as needed to perform maintenance and repairs - Issuing work permits - Prepare set up for meeting rooms if necessary **Recipe for Success: Apply if this sounds like you!** - 3+ years experience in similar role - Technical training or certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred - Experience as a handyman or similar maintenance role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Knowledge of safety standards - High sense of safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices. - At KraftHeinz most people speak English ## Location(s) Nijmegen **Kraft Heinz is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes****.**
