RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis
- Monitor labour costs, margins, contractor profitability, and client performance

- Reconcile payroll, timesheets, invoicing, and contractor costs
- Analyse award rates, overtime, allowances, and labour utilisation trends
- Support end-of-month and end-of-year financial processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax obligations, and labour hire regulations
- Partner with operations and recruitment teams to improve financial performance
- Prepare client profitability reports and KPI dashboards
- Assist with audit preparation and statutory reporting
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities within finance and payroll systems
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in management accounting
- Experience in labour hire, recruitment, staffing, construction, healthcare, logistics, or workforce-heavy industries
- Strong understanding of payroll costing and workforce-related financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with accounting and payroll systems
- Desirable
- Knowledge of Australian labour hire regulations and awards
- Experience with ERP systems such as MYOB, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or Pronto
- Power BI or financial modelling experience
