Manager Finance & Controlling

Als Manager Finance & Controlling speel je een sleutelrol in het waarborgen van de financiële gezondheid en continuïteit van de organisatie. Je zorgt voor accurate rapportages, interne controle en een proactieve financiële bedrijfsvoering, in lijn met de corporate standaarden en de van toepassing zijnde wet- en regelgeving. Met jouw leiderschap en expertise til je de afdeling én de organisatie naar een hoger niveau.

Je rapporteert aan de General Manager Administration en vormt de brug tussen de operatie en het hogere management.

Wat ga je in deze functie doen?

In deze rol ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de Finance en Controlling afdeling en geef je direct leiding aan vier medewerkers. Je zorgt voor structuur, sturing en een toekomstbestendige financiële organisatie. Je bent de sparringpartner van het managementteam en fungeert als eerste aanspreekpunt voor externe financiële stakeholders.

Wat ga je in deze functie doen?

Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden zijn o.a.:

• Leidinggeven aan Finance & Controlling. Je stuurt de afdeling en haar dagelijkse gang van zaken aan en borgt een correcte en tijdige uitvoering van het betalingsverkeer.

• Audit & jaarrekening. Je bereidt audits voor en begeleidt het volledige jaarrekeningproces.

• Belastingen. Tijdig en correct opstellen en indienen van btw-aangiften (NL, DE, UK), intracommunautaire leveringen (ICL) en CBS-statistieken en voorbereiden van de VPB-aangifte inclusief transfer pricing.

• Compliance & regelgeving. Je waarborgt naleving van Dutch GAAP, IFRS en relevante wet- en regelgeving.

• Optimaliseren van financiële processen. Je verbetert en implementeert financiële processen, richtlijnen en systemen binnen Finance.

• Budgettering & verbeterinitiatieven. Je doet voorstellen om winstgevendheid en efficiëntie te verhogen.

• Financiële planning & analyse. Je beoordeelt investeringen, maakt liquiditeitsprognoses en beheert cashflow.

• Rapportage aan MT en stakeholders. Je levert maand-, kwartaal- en jaarrapportages aan General Manager Administration en het MT.

• Stakeholdermanagement. Je onderhoudt contact met accountants, belastingadviseurs, kredietverzekeraars en andere externe partners.

Wat wij vragen

Om succesvol te zijn in deze rol, vragen wij het volgende:

• Je bent een ervaren financieel professional met leiderschapskwaliteiten.

• Je beschikt over een afgeronde financiële opleiding (HBO/WO), bij voorkeur met een specialisatie in accountancy of taxes.

• Je hebt ruime ervaring met Finance & Controlling binnen een internationale of complexe organisatie.

• Je bent analytisch sterk, procesgericht en besluitvaardig.

• Je werkt met een hoge mate van nauwkeurigheid en handelt integer, ook onder tijdsdruk.

• Je communiceert helder op alle niveaus en beweegt gemakkelijk tussen interne en externe stakeholders.

• Je hebt kennis van Dutch GAAP en IFRS en voelt je thuis in een dynamische omgeving.

• Je bent proactief, resultaatgericht en in staat om verbeteringen door te voeren.

• Ervaring met SAP is een eis, ervaring met 4HANA is een pré.

As Finance & Controlling Manager, you play a key role in ensuring the financial health and continuity of the organization. You are responsible for accurate reporting, internal controls, and proactive financial management, in line with corporate standards and applicable laws and regulations. With your leadership and expertise, you will take both the department and the organization to the next level.

You will report to the General Manager of Administration and serve as the bridge between operations and senior management.

What will you be doing in this position?

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the Finance and Controlling department and will directly manage four employees. You will ensure structure, direction, and a future-proof financial organization. You will serve as a strategic partner to the management team and act as the primary point of contact for external financial stakeholders.

What will you be doing in this role?

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Finance & Controlling department. You will manage the department and its day-to-day operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments.

• Audit & financial statements. You will prepare for audits and oversee the entire financial statement process.

• Taxes. Timely and accurate preparation and filing of VAT returns (NL, DE, UK), intra-Community supplies (ICL), and CBS statistics, as well as preparation of the corporate income tax return, including transfer pricing.

• Compliance & Regulations. You ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and relevant laws and regulations.

• Optimizing Financial Processes. You improve and implement financial processes, guidelines, and systems within Finance.

• Budgeting & Improvement Initiatives. You make proposals to increase profitability and efficiency.

• Financial Planning & Analysis. You evaluate investments, prepare liquidity forecasts, and manage cash flow.

• Reporting to the Management Team and Stakeholders. You provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the General Manager of Administration and the Management Team.

• Stakeholder Management. You maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, credit insurers, and other external partners.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for the following:

• You are an experienced finance professional with leadership qualities.

• You have a degree in finance (HBO/WO), preferably with a specialization in accounting or taxes.

• You have extensive experience in Finance & Controlling within an international or complex organization.

• You are analytically strong, process-oriented, and decisive.

• You work with a high degree of accuracy and act with integrity, even under time pressure.

• You communicate clearly at all levels and navigate easily between internal and external stakeholders.

• You have knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS and thrive in a dynamic environment.

• You are proactive, results-oriented, and capable of implementing improvements.

• Experience with SAP is required; experience with 4HANA is a plus.
