About the Role

We’re looking for a Manager Full Scale Productions who can help take Jomboy Media to the next level. This isn’t just about running the full scale production team that creates the Warehouse Games and our larger MLB related productions and field shoots- it’s about leading our most ambitious productions. You’ll work directly with our content creators and producers across our entire content pipeline - from pre-production to production to distribution.

This is a hands-on leadership role within the content team. You’ll control the content budget, plan all major company productions and tentpole events, establish the warehouse publishing schedule, coordinate with sales on sponsorship executions, and direct shoots. You’ll manage partnerships, including Major League Baseball, to create content that elevates both Jomboy Media and our partners.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Creative Leadership

• Own the fullscale content production — from pre-production to production, distribution, and performance.
• Partner with creators to produce new shows, segments, and tentpoles that drive growth and engagement.
• Lead and mentor producers, editors, and creative staff to foster a collaborative, idea-driven culture.
• Manage relationships with Jomboy Media partners such as MLB, AUSL, Fanatics Fest, core community members, and more.

Tentpole Productions

• Work closely with sales, marketing, and merch teams to align content strategy with business goals.
• Collaborate on brand partnerships, sponsored content, and integrated campaigns that drive both revenue and relevance.
• Plan tentpole content trips to MLB All Star, MLB Spring Training, World Series, Sponsored Trips, amongst others. Including booking travel and lodging, applying for media credentials, purchasing props or costumes, preparing all participants, ensuring sales deliverables are accounted for.
• Coordinate tentpole YouTube livestreams for Opening Day, Playoffs, World Baseball Classic among others. Including booking talent and staff, set design, sponsor integration.
• Be an active, on site crew member of all tentpole shoots, trips or warehouse tournaments.
• Oversee and assist with production and execution of all Warehouse Games shoots.
• Plan the yearly Jomboy Media All Star Watch Party community event.
• Lead yearly Fanatics Fest activations.

Content Team Leadership & Managing

• Conduct regular 1:1s with team members to assess workload, morale, and development opportunities.
• Identify and elevate top performers; coach and restructure roles where needed to optimize team performance.
• Create a strong feedback loop between creative and operational teams, maintaining an environment of transparency and accountability.
• Handle all company wide content team communication, reporting and updates.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee production timelines, budgets, and workflows to ensure efficient execution.
• Refine systems and processes for scale and sustainability as the company expands.
• Execute custom sponsored integrations
• Execute long form content as needed
• Manage the company wide tentpole and events calendar in accordance with creator and company bandwidth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in content creation.
• Proven success leading large scale productions across YouTube, podcasts, social, and live.
• Track record of building and mentoring creative teams while managing cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong operational acumen — comfortable overseeing timelines, budgets, and partnerships.
• Exceptional communicator and relationship-builder, both internally and with external partners.
• Deep understanding of sports culture, storytelling, and audience engagement a plus.
• Familiarity with the baseball ecosystem and the broader sports media landscape is a plus.
• Thrives in a creative, fast-paced, startup-like environment.

What You’ll Lead in Your First 90 Days

• 30 Days: Learn the Jomboy Media ecosystem — master the Jomboy Media production process, build relationships with key team members, and audit all ongoing and upcoming Warehouse Games projects.
• 60 Days: Take ownership of our next season year’s production calendar and budgets.
• 90 Days: Lead our full tentpole and warehouse game slate of programming.

Compensation

The compensation will be based on a range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually. The range represents the low and high ends of the base salary someone in this role may earn. Salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to professional experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
