Job description
Employment law-working conditions, disciplinary and grievance procedures, equal opportunities redundancies, paternity pay and maternity rights. Recruitment consultancies, organizing interviews and running assessment centers. Training programme and identifying suitable courses for staff. Salary reviews-researching salaries and ensuring they are in line with legal requirements and industry standards. Documentation- writing staff handbooks. Contracts, staff memos, and issuing written offers of employments, promotion etc. Staff welfare- providing counseling facilities and sports and social activities for staff. May also work closely with company lawyers and trade unions. A relevant first degree. A master’s degree in human resources or an MBA will be of advantage. Relevant professional qualifications (CIPM, CIM). At least three work experience in a similar job role. 35-50 years.
