Organization: Health Information Mgmt Tullahoma Job Summary: Leads medical records team offering guidance on medical record documentation and completion, release of information, coding/research, transcription and retrieval of medical records, financial, quality/administrative review, legal and risk management. Assures accurate and timely completion in accordance with health record policy and standards. . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the most effective operation of the unit through program development, process improvement and coordination of processes across functions. Schedules and assigns work to staff and trains in methods and procedures. Reviews and updates databases, following up on incomplete data and ensuring accurate updates.
