Manager, Mid-Market Sales

Job description

[Vendelux](https://vendelux.com/) is building the category-defining platform for event marketing intelligence. Events are one of the largest and most impactful marketing channels, yet historically one of the least measurable. Vendelux brings transparency and performance to this space — helping companies discover, evaluate, and optimize their event strategy with data. Our platform powers thousands of event decisions by delivering proprietary, AI-driven insights across hundreds of thousands of events globally. At the core of our platform is a robust ecosystem of event organizer partnerships — where organizers share first-party data, enabling richer insights for customers while receiving benchmarking and audience intelligence in return. From identifying the highest ROI conferences to enabling targeted meeting programs, Vendelux helps companies turn events into a predictable and scalable growth engine. In addition, Vendelux Meetings extends our platform by turning insights into pipeline — using AI to identify high-value attendees and proactively book 1:1 meetings between our customers and their ideal prospects at events. This enables go-to-market teams to drive measurable ROI and maximize every event interaction. Founded in 2021, Vendelux is a Series B SaaS company backed by top-tier investors including FirstMark. We partner with many of the fastest-growing companies in the world, and our team includes leaders from Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, FanDuel, Compass, Airbnb, Forter and beyond. ________________ We're looking for a sales leader who thrives on the front lines — someone who doesn't just manage a number, but builds the machine that hits it. As the Manager, Mid-Market Sales, you'll take the reins of a high-performing team of Account Executives, shape how we sell to the mid-market, and turn strategy into revenue, deal by deal. This isn't a "watch the dashboard" leadership role. You'll be in the trenches — coaching reps through tough calls, jumping into deals when it counts, and building a sales motion that scales. You'll report directly to our Head of Sales and partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to make sure every prospect and customer feels the value we deliver. This role is hybrid, 3–4 days a week in our NYC office depending on your location. # **Scope of Responsibilities** - Lead the team. Coach, develop, and grow a squad of Mid-Market AEs into a repeatable revenue engine. - Own the number. Bookings targets, pipeline health, forecast accuracy — it's on you. - Get your hands dirty. Step into deals when it matters — strategy, pricing, negotiation, close. - Build the playbook. Define and continuously sharpen our mid-market sales motion. - Speak the customer's language. Translate event marketing pain points into a clear, data-backed value story. - Break down silos. Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to deliver a seamless customer journey. # **Qualifications** - 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with 2+ years leading a sales team - A track record at a high-growth SaaS or data platform company - Proven success running a consultative motion with mid-market customers - A genuine coaching mindset — you measure your success by your team's growth - Command of pipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution - Comfort in the room with CMOs, Event Marketing Managers, Demand Gen, and Revenue leaders # **Benefits** - Competitive base salary and bonus - Equity - 401(k) - Catered lunch every day in our NYC office - Healthcare covering medical, dental and vision - Unlimited PTO - Two company-wide shutdowns each year, including the week of July 4th and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Not all candidates will check all of the requirements listed above and that’s ok! We are open to great people from non-traditional backgrounds. Vendelux is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, parental or pregnancy status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status.
