The Outsourced Accounting Team Manager serves as an outsourced accountant for clients and works as part of a team to provide a valuable client experience. They handle the day-to-day accounting functions for their clients including having the ability to work with clients with more complex accounting and payroll needs. - Manages accounting projects to meet client needs within a specified time frame
- Works closely with clients to assess general accounting needs
- Prepares complex reports, returns, and other documents as required, including sales tax reports, year-end tax forms, financial statements, and other reports required by clients
- Calculates and revies period-end journal entries and analyzes and provides guidance to clients on balance sheet accounts
- Completes the period-end process for clients
- Properly codes and completes data entry of bank statement and other bookkeeping transactions
- Reconciles bank accounts for clients
- Provides mentoring and technical training for employees in the accounting services department
- Performs client billings for accounting services provided

- Associate’s or bachelor's degree in accounting required
- 7+ years of bookkeeping experience required including experience managing staff
- Valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license preferred
- Advanced knowledge of general ledger accounting and principles
- Advanced knowledge of federal and state payroll laws
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects
