Job description

Develop branch plan to build the business by identifying and understanding local markets. Achieve branch objectives for sales and profit performance. Develop strong business relationships with customers. Analyze sales and stock figures and take action to expand areas of growth. Increase the number of new buying customers through activation. Increase the portfolios dedicated to the team. Manage, motivate, train, follow and control the activity of the Sales Staff in order to optimize the result. Address customer complaints to understand customers’ needs and expectations, and propose solutions. Analyze the best customers to know their buying behaviours, understand their needs and propose solutions. Visit customers to understand their business and activities. Check competitor promotions and analyze price comparisons with main competitors. Evaluate competitors’ promotions and provide ongoing feedback to the Buying Department. Visit competitors to check price, assortment, merchandising, services and competitor activities. Coach and train team members on existing and new concepts, technology and functionality. Monitor performance of all team members and keep motivation levels high. Follow up on sales, customer activity, stock, margin and personnel productivity. Ensure that each member adheres to the policies and procedures announced by management. Graduation with 5 years of hands-on experience METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies.
