Job Title: Manual Machinist Job ID: 43048 Job Location: Carlstadt, NJ Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: ARDE Inc., the U.S. leader in manufacturing pressure vessels for space applications, is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will operate manual machines to produce precision components for aerospace applications. Essential Functions: Must be able to obtain a security clearance. Operate manual lathes, mills to produce aerospace components. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Perform inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards. Maintain and troubleshoot manual machining equipment. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes. Follow safety protocols and company procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience operating manual machining equipment. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum. Knowledge of precision machining techniques. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of New Jersey is $18.50/hr - $59.13/hr.
