The Position Manufacturing Controller / Cost and Production Analyst (CPA) Job Summary Role : At a plant level, ensure consistent standard cost calculations and monitoring, provide financial data to support the site Manager / Hub controller and Accounting. Reports to : CAR Director South and East Europe (acting as CAR Subcluster Manager for Ukraine and Russia) Dotted lines to : Controlling Director Refractories EMEA Direct reports : No direct report Responsibilities : Calculate and update standard costs Responsible for fixed assets & Physical stock reconciliation with ERP Update actual unit costs in ERP for inventory valuation Perform plant production and inventory monthly reconciliation Oversee accounting ledgers and correct cost centers/ accounts Determine accruals to be booked in ERP related to inventory/cost of good sold Extract data from ERP, fill energy tabs & inventory information Review Monthly plant and cost reports with site manager/headquarter Provide financial data (standard costs, production costs, etc) and ad hoc invoice information, quantity produced when required) Design formalize internal control procedure for stock (general ledger….) Accountable for consistency of plants standards costs Qualifications & Experience Key competencies Understand industrial processes and costing principles Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), practices, standards, laws and regulations, tax computations Ability to handle complex financial information Ability to create a strong bonds with other people, inspires trust and confidence in both his peers, senior, and external partners Demonstrate good communication skills to convey information Have a keen eye for details, ability to manage multi tasks / project and meet tight deadlines, is analytical and highly organized Work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting, have a confident and outgoing personality, Proficient in English Proficient in financial software as 1C, database and Google suite package Ability to prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting Ideal background/ experience Previous experience as senior Accountant, Cost Analyst or similar role Degree in accounting / finance are preferred Good level of English, written and spoken Position Type Full time and Permanent Only technical issues will be monitored through the below inbox: @ PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT RESUMES OR APPLICATIONS TO THIS EMAIL, AS THEY WILL NOT BE REVIEWED.
