Job description
**At Poka, we're changing how the world's industrial teams work — capturing the knowledge of their best people and putting it in every operator's hands.** **Our connected worker platform is purpose-built for manufacturing and the wider industrial world, with industrial AI inside the shift, not on top of it. The result: frontline performance that becomes compounding knowledge and measurable impact — every shift, every site, every region.** **We're proud to support global leaders like Nestlé, Bosch, Mars, and Danone across 3,000+ sites in 70+ countries. And as a fast-growing part of the IFS family, you'll join a team whose daily work directly shapes the platform behind how modern manufacturing gets done.** --- **If you've lived the realities of manufacturing or industrial operations — and know how to translate those challenges into compelling technical solutions — this role is built for you.** We're looking for a Solutions Consultant who combines hands-on operational knowledge with pre-sales expertise to join our growing North American team. Whether you've sold technical solutions into factories and industrial environments or made the move from the plant floor into a customer-facing role, you understand both the operational complexity and the consultative depth required to drive real digital transformation. You'll be a key partner to our North American Sales team, guiding prospects through how Poka — and its AI-powered capabilities — unlocks measurable value across operations, frontline enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives. **What you'll be doing** - Act as a trusted advisor to operational leaders across manufacturing and industrial sectors, deeply understanding their processes, pain points, and digital maturity — including where AI can accelerate their journey. - Lead consultative discovery conversations that connect real-world operational challenges to Poka's connected worker capabilities and AI-driven insights. - Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly articulate business impact, from waste reduction and standardized work to training optimization and AI-assisted knowledge capture. - Architect solution frameworks that support enterprise-level manufacturing and industrial environments, ensuring alignment with IT, OT, and operational requirements. - Develop compelling value narratives and business cases grounded in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence principles. - Partner closely with the North American Sales team to support strategic deals, RFPs, PoCs, and executive presentations. - Contribute operational expertise to the broader Solutions team, helping elevate demo strategy, storytelling, and use-case positioning. - Represent Poka at customer-facing events, site visits, and strategic workshops across the region. **What you bring** - Minimum 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales role supporting manufacturing or industrial customers. - Plus either: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial operations (engineering, CI, production leadership, field operations), or - 5+ years selling or supporting technical solutions into manufacturing or industrial environments. - Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, standardized work, and operational KPIs. - Comfort engaging with AI-powered tools and the ability to articulate how AI features — such as intelligent search, automated reporting, and predictive insights — translate into operational value on the frontline. - Experience delivering customized product demonstrations and leading technical discussions with both operational and IT stakeholders. - Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear operational outcomes and business value. - Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage site managers, CI leaders, IT teams, and C-suite executives. - Experience contributing to PoCs, solution design, or technical validation processes. - Fluency in English required. - Willingness to travel within North America (up to 50%). **Why Poka?** At Poka, you won't just demo software — you'll help shape how global manufacturers and industrial operators empower their frontline teams. You'll work at the intersection of operations, technology, and AI-driven innovation, where features like intelligent knowledge retrieval, AI-assisted work instructions, and automated operational insights are already changing what's possible on the factory floor and beyond. As part of a fast-growing company within the IFS ecosystem, you'll have global exposure, strong cross-regional collaboration, and real influence on how we position and evolve our solutions across North America. If you're ready to combine operational expertise with consultative selling — and make a tangible impact on worksites from coast to coast — we'd love to meet you. **What we offer:** - Scale-up energy with huge backing and a global yet close-knit team. - Generous vacation policy, additional paid days, and charity day. - Hybrid work policy - Employees who live within a 40 km radius of our Québec City office or a 15 km radius of our Montréal office are required to work in-office two days per week. - 100% remote work if you do not live within the radiuses mentioned above. - A truly flexible schedule that allows you to adapt your work hours. - Group insurance from day one (dental, medication, disability, travel, etc.) with employer contributions, including access to telemedicine and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). - A retirement savings plan with employer contributions. - A MacBook Pro and a $500 home office allowance upon hiring. - A generous annual learning and development budget to support your growth, plus the tools and opportunities you need to keep progressing in your career. - A rewarding employee referral program for successful hires. - Tasty snacks available at all times in our offices (fresh fruits, snacks, pastries, coffee, tea, etc.) *\*Certain benefits are exclusively accessible to employees in Canada.* *Want to learn more about our culture?
