**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Financial Manager based in United States.** This is a high-impact finance leadership role supporting a global Marketing organization and its multi-million-dollar operating budget. You will own end-to-end budget management, forecasting, financial modeling, and spend optimization across multiple Marketing functions. The role combines strategic financial partnership with hands-on operational ownership of headcount, program spend, purchase orders, and accruals. You will work closely with senior Marketing leaders to improve budget accountability, prioritize investments, and redirect resources toward high-value initiatives. You will also evaluate marketing performance and investment returns, translating business metrics into actionable financial insights. A key part of the role is modernizing FP&A processes through automation, analytics, and enterprise financial technology. This remote-first position offers the opportunity to influence major business decisions within a fast-moving technology environment. ### Accountabilities - Own the Marketing organization’s overall OPEX budget, including headcount and payroll modeling, program-level spending, purchase orders, and vendor-related expenses across multiple functions. - Lead strategic financial planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and longer-term financial modeling for the Marketing organization. - Partner with senior Marketing stakeholders to monitor in-quarter spending, maintain financial discipline, and redeploy uncommitted funds toward priority initiatives. - Collaborate with Accounting on month-end accruals and financial close activities while coordinating with Procurement and Sourcing on purchasing workflows. - Deliver ad hoc financial analysis, ROI assessments, scenario modeling, and decision support for marketing programs, vendor renewals, organizational changes, and strategic investments. - Modernize FP&A processes by leveraging financial planning platforms, data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and reduce reporting cycles. - Translate Marketing and business performance data into clear recommendations that support profitable growth and stronger investment decisions. ## Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or a similar discipline, preferably within a high-growth technology or enterprise SaaS environment. - Proven experience managing high-volume operating budgets of $50M+ and overseeing complex purchase orders, vendor accruals under US GAAP, and headcount forecasting across multiple teams. - Demonstrated ability to operate independently and partner effectively with senior leaders at Director and VP levels, communicating financial concepts clearly and concisely. - Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel or Google Sheets, combined with experience using enterprise FP&A platforms such as Anaplan, Pigment, or Adaptive. - Familiarity with ERP and workforce management systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or Greenhouse. - Direct FP&A experience supporting Marketing, Sales, or other go-to-market functions is strongly preferred. - Experience with financial workflow automation and data tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or AI-assisted finance solutions is a plus. - Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and provide actionable recommendations. - Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, manage multiple priorities, and occasionally travel for team or project meetings. ## Benefits - Competitive salary, with listed US ranges varying by eligible location. - Potential eligibility for equity compensation and a corporate bonus plan. - Health care insurance and comprehensive employee benefits. - 401(k) retirement savings program. - Paid sick time and personal time off. - Generous parental and wellness leave. - Flexible, remote-first work environment. - Opportunities for occasional in-person team and project meetings. - Inclusive culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. - Opportunities to make a meaningful impact through volunteering and community initiatives.
