Our marketplace operates in all 50 states, and we’re just getting started! **About the Role** As our Marketing Operations Intern, you’ll help scale one of Neighbor’s most important growth channels: Google Maps. This role is highly execution-focused and will involve setting up, managing, and optimizing Google Maps pins at scale in partnership with Neighbor hosts. This is a part-time internship of approximately 20 hours per week. ### Primary Responsibilities - **Google Maps Pin Setup:** Work directly with Neighbor hosts to create and maintain Google Maps pins for their listings - **Pin Quality & Compliance:** Ensure pins follow best practices and Google guidelines, including accurate categories, descriptions, photos, service areas, and business details - **Pin Optimization:** Improve pin quality and performance through ongoing optimizations (photos, descriptions, categories, attributes, etc.) - **Operational Scaling:** Help build repeatable processes to scale pin creation and optimization across thousands of listings - **Performance Tracking:** Monitor key performance metrics (rank, impressions, actions, calls, clicks) and report on learnings ### Qualifications - Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future - Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and December 2027 - Must be available to work onsite at Neighbor HQ in Lehi, UT - Strong attention to detail - Comfort communicating via phone, email, and text - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of work - Comfort with basic data analysis and reporting **Nice to haves**- Interest in local SEO, marketplaces, or marketing - Experience building AI workflows ### What Can Set You Apart - Strong attention to detail and operational rigor - Ability to follow a process while also spotting ways to improve it - Comfort communicating with hosts via phone, email, and text - Strong organization skills and ability to manage a high volume of work - Interest in local SEO, marketplaces, or operations-heavy growth roles - Ability to work independently and stay consistent in a fast-paced environment
