Marketing Program Manager – Biopharma Segment, Cell and Biomolecular Analysis Programs

Job Description Plans, directs and coordinates product line from the Cell and Biomolecular Analysis Division and Biopharma specific marketing programs and initiatives to support funnel generation & sales for APAC focusing on Japan. Tailors worldwide marketing programs to meet region-specific customer needs and creates region-specific programs. Determines the appropriate marketing tactics mix and owns execution of all marketing activities and customer communication in the assigned region / country. Analyzes market trends and competitor activities and converts them into tactical marketing & sales programs. Acts as a focal point for consolidating business metrics, market trends, pricing, customer and technology related information to share with the business units and enables the communication flow between business units and sales channels. Identifies and develops business opportunities and provides information and support for the sales force. Works closely with region/country senior management to align sales & marketing functions to capture business opportunities. Has contact with customers and plays an important role in generating new customers and maintaining current customers for future sales. May assist the sales force in the sales process. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology/ Cell Biology, or equivalent. Post-graduate, certification in Business Management or Marketing is a plus. At least 4+ years relevant experience in marketing, business development and strategic roles. Excellent communication skills (written / oral) and fluency in Japanese and English.• Must have a proven ability to plan and execute; to think strategically and translate to tactics that can be implemented to drive customer preference and demand for Agilent’s solutions in Biopharma. Ability to work across a matrixed and global organization. Ability to excite and motivate direct sales teams and distributors. Demonstrated skills in teamwork, results-orientation, and strong persistence to reach goals. Ability to travel locally ~ 30% of the time. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
