In our department “Heterogeneous Catalysis” we focus on projects related to catalyst development, including synthesis, characterization, and testing. We are looking for your support as part of a master’s thesis on the development and optimization of process conditions for catalysts used in the dry reforming of methane. The thesis will involve working on a highly complex pilot plant for testing heterogeneous catalysts in the gas phase. Be part of change Testing of heterogeneous catalysts on a gas-phase test facility Evaluation and interpretation of conversion and selectivity data Working independently in the laboratory and pilot plant What you contribute Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field Ideally, initial experience in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, particularly in testing Initial experience working with laboratory equipment for testing catalysts and with compression fittings is a plus High level of personal responsibility and a reliable, scientific approach to work Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team Good English skills would be an advantage What we offer We are committed to creating an inspiring working environment in which all employees can develop.
