In our department “Heterogeneous Catalysis” we work on projects related to catalyst development, including synthesis, characterization, and testing. We are looking for your support as part of a master’s thesis on the development and optimization of catalysts for the dry reforming of methane. The thesis will involve the synthesis, modification, and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts using state-of-the-art analytical techniques. Be part of change Synthesis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts Analysis and interpretation of characterization data Working independently in the laboratory and pilot plant What you contribute Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, ideally in industrial chemistry or a related field Ideally, experience in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, particularly synthesis and characterization Some experience working with laboratory equipment for performing state-of-the-art characterizations (e.g., TPD, XRD) is a plus High level of personal responsibility and a reliable, scientific approach to work Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team Good English skills would be an advantage What we offer We are committed to creating an inspiring working environment in which all employees can develop.
